Over
the last couple of weeks I have added some blog entries on here of mine and it
was a fun experience. Blogs are a great way to express yourself and show your
character in a limited way. The biggest thing I did not like about blogging was
that I could not express myself in the way I would have liked. I felt that it
was extremely limited as to what you could do and that made it hard for me to
stay focused because I had so many other things I would have liked to share
instead.
The things
I have learned specifically are how you can express strong emotions over the
internet and you need to be careful what you say. You never know who is going
to read it because it is on the internet after all. If you put something on the
internet you need to truly mean it and be ready to back it up because that
could cause serious back lash for you from a lot of different people. Using word
choice is definitely a key element that needs to be watched on blogs so that
your readers do not have to question what you mean.
Unfortunately
I did not take this blogging experience serious enough because I just lost
interest in it and that was difficult for me to handle. I did learn how easy it
was to create a blog and they are actually quite helpful, I am thinking of
starting one soon to vent my emotions through. I learned how to express myself
in ways that I never thought I could and it was definitely a limited
experience. This project was creative but with my schedule it was just too much
for me to handle and I realize that now. If there was something I wish I could have
done better that would be spending more time on this project.
I hope to pursue and make a genuine blog that I can write in every day after this because I did appreciate having to do it even if my dedication was not there.

Randi--I am glad you enjoyed the blog project. You have some good content, but it is a little brief. I was hoping to get more specific and in-depth discussion of your experience with blogging. Thanks for the feedback. Keep blogging!
